PiGrains is an experimental granular synthesis piece for Composing with Computers. The source file is me reciting the digits of Pi for about a minute.

This is a short piece that focuses on using a phase vocoder to work with frequency shifting. I've included both the final file along with several of the different intermediate files I used.

This is an experiment in time-shifting using a phase vocoder. I have taken two files and slowed them down to about 50% original speed.

This quarter I am taking a class called "Composing with Computers." Our first assignment was on convolution so I decided to try and do something with basketball and billiards sounds. I used SoundHack to convolve the billiards with the basketball sound, and then edited them in Logic Pro 7 to create this piece. Enjoy!

I'm also releasing my basic editing assignment. It's a simple marimba piece where I transformed the original file into the modified file using audio editing techniques.
